Reading, Writing and Verbal
These are the basic and essential components that we need throughout our life. This program is handcrafted by our experienced teachers who bring in many years of experience in teaching kids.
Reading:
- Reading is fundamental. Nothing will prepare your children to be good writers more than reading books.
- Read to them every day and encourage them to read on their own as much as possible. In our experience, once they read, they will themselves imagine and write creatively.
- In the beginning years, one must read aloud to them and discuss the facts. This will help kids brainstorm, imagine and enhance their critical thinking skills.
Creative Writing:
- Creative Writing is one of those areas in which kids struggle in the beginning.
- Writing is made up of words, let them be word collectors. Make a list of words that sound interesting like oozing, and buttery. Encourage the kids to communicate, brainstorm and collect words that they like throughout the week. We will teach you how to store these words. Your kids need to learn to appreciate and really get to know words intimately.
- As kids grow as writers, they use synonyms of simple words or simple verbs, adjectives and write more details to create sentences. And soon they use their creativity and author their own mini-books!
- Occasionally, we will publish write ups done by kids in our are website (Coming Soon) section.
Verbal Articulation
- Our purpose is for children to learn different forms of communication- interpersonal, small group and public communication. They will have the ability to converse fluently within a group of people.
- We will help kids learn how to effectively process their imagination into words and sentences and speak fluently with correct vocabulary, pronunciation and expressions.
We will have different themes, games, and contests for reading, creative writing and verbal. This will help kids have fun, learn, develop love for reading and writing and be confident speakers. Let the world be your stage!
